Eagle Scout Project
I am Shiven Sharma, and I am a rising senior at Milton High School. I am currently working toward Scouting America's highest rank, Eagle Scout. To earn this rank, I must plan and lead a group of volunteers to complete a community service project.
My project is to construct six vegetable garden beds and a step surrounding the outdoor classroom at Old Rucker Road Park. These new beds will replace the current deteriorating ones and nearly double the available growing space. The produce grown in the beds will be used to teach children how to grow plants, with the harvest also being donated to local food banks.
I look forward to seeing this project through to completion and making a lasting impact on the community.
