For my Eagle Scout project, I will lead a team of volunteers in building 60 Eastern Bluebird nest boxes for the City of Milton. Eastern Bluebirds depend on natural tree cavities for nesting, but suitable nesting spaces have become harder to find because of habitat loss, competition from invasive species, and the removal of mature trees.

My fundraising goal is $1,500, which will help cover the cost of cedar lumber, hardware, bird-safe stain, poles, concrete, safety supplies, instructional cards, and other materials needed to complete the project.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help create safe nesting spaces for local birds and make this project possible. Your support will also help me take an important step toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout while giving back to the community.
